I had this beer on-tap in a cheater pint at the brewery. This is a chocolate coconut porter.
Appearance: rich dark brown hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of tan foam. Not at all bad.
Smell: lightly caramelly with a dash of roast and just a hint of the chocolate and coconut to come.
Taste: a little bit of roast with plenty of the chocolate and toasted coconut shining through. A little on the sweet side, but that's acceptable for a well crafted dessert porter like this.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and concomitant creaminess. I dig it.
Overall: a very good dessert porter indeed. Two of these might be too many, but one hits the spot.
