I had this beer on-tap in a cheater pint at the brewery.
Appearance: rich copper hue with just a little dash of haze. Head is a thin layer of ivory foam. Superb color!
Smell: toasty malt aroma that's a bit over-sweet. Thankfully that element doesn't carry over into the flavor too much.
Taste: caramelly malt with a light yeasty character and a dash of toastiness. Hops are earthy in character but mild in intensity. This is definitely one of the better American Märzens I've tried.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a very nice creaminess.
Overall: quite a tasty example of the style, although maybe just a dash too much sweetness builds up on the palate as I drink. Still - quite refreshing.
