Had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the Big E Brewery. The menu says this is a double dry-hopped pale ale with an emphasis on flavor rather than bitterness. The menu also said this was a seasonal, but it didn't say which season -- so I assumed winter.
Appearance: very pale straw hue with a touch of haze. Pretty pale, even for a pale ale, but nice.
Smell: super mild aroma; sweet malt comes through but very little hops.
Taste: extremely smooth malt with a nice, light and somewhat fruity hop character. Hops are also a bit grassy in nature Bitterness is quite low but the overall effect is smooth and refreshing -- this is an exceptionally clean beer.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a low level of carbonation. Not too bad; the lightness emphasizes the beer's refreshing qualities.
Overall: I like this beer's refreshing drinkability quite a lot! It's pretty mild, but the bright freshness of the hops makes this incredibly quaffable.
