I had this beer on-tap today at the brewery. It's billed as being brewed with orange peel and vanilla beans, and appears to be a basic golden ale underneath.
Appearance: clear golden hue with a very thin layer of white foam. Basic but not bad.
Smell: described as containing vanilla and orange peel, this beer definitely smells the part. Not sure though how well vanilla works for me in such a light beer.
Taste: strong vanilla flavor in an otherwise light golden ale flavor. Hints of mint at the end. A bit weird; not terrible, but just not to my taste.
Mouthfeel: light body with a good, refreshing effervescence. Not bad.
Overall: an interesting experiment of a beer. Not too successful, though, in my opinion.
