Cheeky Yinzer
English India Pale Ale
6% ABV
LOOK: Pale golden color with fine clarity. Soapy froth, lace stickage.
SMELL: Yeast notes upfront, more than likely Penn's specialty yeast strain. Fresh baked bread, indistinguishable fruit, toffee, citrus.
TASTE: Almost lager like in taste, with bready malts, buttery note, toffee, caramel, melon and some earthy citrus hops. The hops are very mild; this brew itself is actually quite mellow.
FEEL: Light bodied, crisp, well carbonated.
OVERALL: An easy going pale, mild and easy to session. For a collaborative ale, this is a very safe and approachable style. Brewed for Pittsburgh's Craft Beer Week.
