This was more of a balanced APA with a strong malt character in line with the hop forward presentation. Good mix of both in both the aroma and taste. Bitterness was smooth and lingering but not overpowering to everything else being served. I liked malt/hop balance in APA and this one did it nicely. Moderate to slightly less feel. Good drinkability. Aroma was fresh and more traditional Am. fruit/citrus quality.
There was a very brief vegetal taste. Only had it once and then it was gone. Not sure what to make of that.
