I've read other reviews and there's no mention of lemon. Maybe the beer varies, but lemon is the headline in this bottle. And it's a lovely refreshing palatable lemon with a hint of peel - no sour lemon.
The drink is let down by the 'mouthfeel' - somehow too fizzy and simultaneously watery. I drank their '11Dunkel' lately - took no notes, but remember the consistency was beautiful, so disappointed here.
This bottle (liter bottle) is just out of date. Taste is good, can't see date affecting consistency, but I'm no expert.

Served draft in a .5 liter Seidel at a "Beer Seminar" at the brewpub in Murnau Thursday, July 23rd 2009.
Appearance: A nice orange/gold color. Yellowish head that dispersed, but left a good amount of lace. Unfiltered, so the standard yeasty cloudiness one expects.
Smell: A bit of malt in the smell, certainly some flowers and perhaps fruit. Oranges? The color may have influence.
Taste: Pleasant mild malt with a slight hop aftertaste. Slight yeast.
Mouthfeel: Crisp and clean. Exactly what one expects from a Helles.
Drinkability: Not my very favorite style, but I found myself wanting another. A perfect match to the exceedingly warm weather that day.

Orange, very dark. Hazy. Dirty white head, one finger. Thin perlage.
At the smell light maltiness, acacia honey, and orange flowers.
Again honey in the taste, with malty notes, and, in the end, some hop.
Same for the aftertaste, with a bit more hop.
Nothing exceptional, but more than decent, and drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub in Murnau am Staffelsee, halfway between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Wednesday, June 1. Each of the four of us in my family had a half liter of one of their beers. This review from notes made by my daughter.
Crisp taste of a good, refreshing, above average lager. Malt depth balances the delicate hop bitterness quite well. Smooth dry finish, with a nice clean palate.
All in all, a well rounded Helles. Exceptionally drinkable.
