Wow, this one really surprised me. I absolutely love their distinct house yeast strain, and so enjoy quite a few of their long-term beers for many decades, but this new one was unexpectedly delicious and refreshing. We all got a second round. Bravo.

12oz can dated 8/29/23.
Pours clear gold with a half-inch head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Wet cornflakes in the nose. Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Corn flakes and faint grains on the palate. Finishes dry and forgettable.

From the 12 fl. oz. can which was canned on 07/02/2018. Sampled on July 28, 2018.
It pours golden yellow min color with a quick-lasting white head and decent clarity.
The aroma has a notable cracker or toasted bread malt sensation. Perhaps sweet too. Grassy hops. Very typical of the style.
Light body.
The flavor highlights the toasted bread or cracker character before anything else but it is generally sweet, clean, and crisp like a light beer should be. It could be a halfway decent introduction to craft beer for folks who only drink Coors Light or Bud Light.
