Deep golden in color. Clean, crisp, ale hopped with traditional English hops. A slight fruitiness gives way to hop assertiveness.

From a growler. The statement that this is retired is not true. I bought the growler today, May 7, 2015, at the brewery.
The pour is medium amber to caramel orange with a small head.
The aroma is of English toasted malts, toffee, caramel and sweetness with a played down grassy hop note.
Light to medium and creamy body
The taste is sweet caramel and toasty with a low to absent hop bitterness at the end.
