Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a dee brown color with a small head of tan colored foam. The head has a decent retention, fading over time and leaving sticky lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a dark fruits of cherry, raisin, prune, and plum mixed with a ton of candied and brown sugar. Along with these smells comes notes of dark chocolate and vanilla as well as hints of coffee and marshmallow. Other burnt aromas and some roasted and charred malt are there as well, rounding out the smell to produce a very sweet and dark smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a mix of sweet and dark, with a strong showing of the candied sugar and dark chocolate. With the candied sugar comes some of the dark fruit that was in the nose, along with some burnt sugar and malt flavors. While light upfront, some graham cracker and vanilla marshmallow develop as the taste advances, with some bitter coffee and heavily roasted malt joining in as well. At the end, there is a surge in the candied sugar, with the bitter increasing as well, leaving one with an odd sweet and bitter roasted taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is quite heavy with a low and fine carbonation level. For the big and heavy tastes and sweet desert style, the feel is quite appropriate.
Overall - An interesting brew. The candied sugar dominates the flavors. Not as much s’more action as I was anticipating. Overall, OK.

Drinking in a large tulip glass from a 16 oz can.
Pours a very black-brown with minimal filmy head.
Smell is primarily of chocolate.
Taste is much the same, with some hint of marshmallow.
Somewhat sweet and cloying. Odd aftertaste.
