Copenhagen 6/7 2018. 33 cl bottle from Netto Marken Discount in Kiel (part of a six pack with different Störtebeker beers). A Ship in Dire Waters on the label.
Pours hazy amber with a small, bubbly, white head. Settles as a thin patch floating around the center of the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty. Subdued. Stuffy refrigerator, caramel, boiled vegetables, hints of brown sugar.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lively, prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet. Followed by a very light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingering.
Reminds me more of a Vienna than a Kellerbier. Notable sweetness, easy to drink. Gets a bit cloying after a while.

From the bottle, it pours a clear amber with a nice off-white head that lasts. In the nose, caramel malt predominates. In the mouth, it has light caramel tastes with a nice malt base.

Pours an amber yellow with a huge, stable head.
Smells of crackers, dried garden herbs and slightly sweet toffee malts.
Drinks light and refreshing with a lighter effervescence during its finish to balance the maltiness in this.
Tastes of bread crust, caramel and a blend of faint herbs and dried grain. Turns breadier after the swallow with a little more malt cutting through, creating a fitting complexity on the tongue, while the beer drinks pretty easily. Finishes light, malty and bready with a hint of prevailing herbal hops.
This is pretty well brewed and does exactly what you could expect from it. It‘s a well balanced, slightly crisp and otherwise malty beer with a great refreshment to it.

Half litre bottle, poured into pint shaker.
A: Cloudy amber colour, medium sized faintly tanned head which didn’t hang around for too long.
S: Sugar beat and farmyard funk.
T: Followed the nose but added some sweet citrus.
M: Thick souplike texture, not much carbonation.
O: A strange one, overdid the sweetness. I expected something resembling an IPL, but this was more like a Kellerbier that went a bit wrong.

From Costco. In Teku glass. Playing The Last Door Season 2. Caramel notes in a body that id so weakt that it becomes bothering while drinking. A pity because with a bit more body it could be a nice brew
