Pours a dark brown color with a bigger, noisily receding and spongy head.
Smells of toasted malts, ground coffee and bitter chocolate among hazelnut spread, as well as note of licorice.
Featuring a medium bodied, this offers a refreshing mouthfeel with a very lively carbonation spark during the beer‘s finish.
Tastes of toffee, a noteable alcohol note, giving the beer an unnecessary boozy characteristic and lighter honey, together with dry and slightly roasty coffee beans. The alcoholic harshness makes it very hard to detect any flavors from here on, since the beer is simply not enjoyable any longer.
This is a perfect example of how not to create an abv elevated Porter.
