One of my favourite beers recently. I enjoy its caramel flavour despite despising caramel in real life. The intensity of flavour covers up the alcohol taste despite being a high ABV beer. It goes pretty well with roasted beaf sausages and hearty meals ans well as pecan nuts. Not that it calls for anything else, it is extremely enjoyable on its own as well.

From the bottle, it pours a clear Baltic Amber (slightly dark) with a modest head that soon reduces to a thin layer. In the nose, it is slightly smoky initially, with roasted malts and caramel in contention. In the mouth, it is roasted and caramel malts up front, with some smokiness lingering in the palate. Nice!
