Pacific Ale is a top-fermented India Pale Ale with a 14.9%, enjoy at 8°C. Generous use of Comet, Mosaic, Citra and Topaz hops from three different continents create an aroma of mango, pineapple and citrus. Light barley malts make for a bright golden color and a light, dry drink. The warm fermentation gives the sparkling carbonation.

An IPA more on the bitter side with domineering citrus flavour. Body and foam is as expected. Nonetheless, I must admit that it is currently my go to if I want an easy IPA refreshment with its hoppy tanginess and adjustability to various types of matching. Tried it with spicy Indian curry first, though through experiment I found this beer to be a great match with nuts and some semi-hard cheeses. Brazilian nuts and cheddar are my top two to go whilst enjoying the second half of the bottle.

Yields a clear amber to golden color with a huge, fluffy head atop.
Reveals aromas of fresh cut limes, passion fruit and tangerines among a noteable, sweet and rustic malt appearance, adding to the complexity of the hops.
Drinks smooth with a velvet softness among a lighter body, developing a late, refreshing effervescence.
Tastes of ripe passion fruits, together with a well pronounced lime bitterness among a toffee and resin defined malt backbone. Develops a velvet, dry softness while putting the spotlight even more on the limes, as well as its balancing malts. Finishes with a lively carbonation spark, which highlights the sun ripened fruit appearance in this as well as its bitter lime antagonist in a very pleasant fashion.
Very well done West Coast IPA with a fantastic mouthfeel, balance and hop intensity to it.

A German gave me this bier as his favorite German IPA. From the half liter bottle, it pours a hazy golden color with a nice large white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a dose of very nice citrus, which is followed by a taste that is citrusy and moderate to high bitterness.
