The large head is warm brown, it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing. The dark red-brown liquid (90 EBC) is clear.
The smell is malty and a bit sour. Some nuts, chocolate and caramel malt. Earthy and a bit dusty. Reminds of a English brown ale.
The taste starts with some salty notes and milk chocolate. It is quite sweet, but at the same time a bit... thin. Notes of dried fruits and sweet liquorice. Medium body. Chocolate in the aftertaste as well as some caramel and salt. The finish is sweet.
The liquid is mid-smooth; the carbonation light and the bubbles mild.
Not the most balanced beer I have had, some of the malts are a bit rough with an unexpected flavour of salt. Rather OK, this one.

A: The color is dark; reddish deep brown. The pale brown head is thick and medium-sized. Only some lacings.
S: Rich maltyness; sweet and chocolaty - but with a poo-like off-smell... Some dark dried fruits, but rather annonymous.
T: Sweet dark dried fruits and chocolate is almost all this beer tastes. The malt is very dominant.
M: Sweet aftertaste, short though. Full body and low carbonation.
O: Not very complex. The malt dominates so strong that nothing else is noticable. Then there's the off-smell...
