This is, in fact, not special. It is corn cereal malt in a helles lager. Grassy hops emerge as it warms in the nose, but the taste is just the sweet malt and white bread yeast the whole way. Not bad but just boring and lacks depth beyond malt smoothness and yeasty airiness. Pour is clear golden with a white head, decent blobs of lacing

I tried this beer while snowboarding in Interlaken, CH.
A- Pale yellow with lots of bubbles.
S- Pretty bland. A lot like an American macro.
T- Think of Bud Light with more hops bitterness.
M- Once again, think of Bud Light. Pretty average for a macro.
D- Highly drinkable, goes down easy.

Hand-carried from Switzerland (thanks "N"). Touted as "The Local Beer of Interlaken." Great example of the style. Little lasting head, but nice lacing; clear yellow color. Good mouthful, with smooth, mild taste that was quite drinkable. No, you wont find complexity here; but compared to so many other Euro Pale Lagers, this one is well done. I wish it were available in the US.
