I had this on tap at the bar next to the brewery. I got an earful of history about the bar, the brewery, and the beer from the bartender (Mike - an awesome guy to BS with for an hour or two). Great atmosphere, friendly barflies, and some great brew. I got the sampler when I was there and Mike added a few on that didn't come with it. Overall I sampled about ten of their beers and this was one.
A - The Liverator pours a dark maroon brown with a thick tan head.
S - Chocolate, caramel, brown sugar.
T - Flavors of dark fruit, caramel and chocolate. A hint of grape and hops hits at the back of your mouth and you can feel the alcohol as it goes down your throat.
M - Thick, full and well bodied.
D - Drinkability is very high. Goes down way too easy. They only serve in 10 oz. portions. But you can have more than one.

The website taste that this beer is "Available November until March" but it was still on-tap April 29th when we stopped in after DLD.
Appearance: Served a dark mahogany color with a light beiger head and some lacing.
Smell: Caramel molasses and dark fruits and grain in the nose.
Taste & Mouthfeel: It is a predictable tasty, approachable double bock that delivers what I'd expect although not much more than that. Nice though. Roasty malts in a creamy smooth fruity body with hits of spiced rum.
Drinkability: This is an approachable double bock though probably a one glass beer IMO.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

Pours a deep dark brown, marron and black with a thick tan head.
Aroma of chocolate, caramel and sweet brown sugar.
Flavors of dark fruit, caramel and chocolate explode across the palate. Just a hint of hops bittering cuts the sweet finish but his one is all about juicy malts.
Mouthfeel is full and lush and leaves a great sweet film on the teeth.
Drinkability is very high. Really excellent representation of the style and welcome treat on a cold, windy afternoon in West MI.
