I also had it at Beerfest and I have to say that I am looking for it here on the Baltimore shelves. Everything from the livery was outstanding. They truly stole the show from everyone else.

A- A great rich copper with flecks of red. The head held through my 2 oz. with decent lacing.

S- Vibrant, First malt hits, then Cherries, then overtones of Brandy. Apples, Clove and love dance around over the top of this brew.

T- To say that there was anything wrong with this beer would be crazy. It was what it said it was a Cerry Jubilee. It was so complex it was indescribable. Cherries, Oak, Malt, very slight hops, and the right amount of sour. Perfect

M- Rich and warm with alcohol. It hits very smoothly then leaves a slight burn.

D- DEFINITLY NOT A SESSION BREW! This beer calls for much respect and should be enjoyed one at a time, slowly. Hold it in your mouth like a first born child in your arms, and allow it to unfold its many volumes on your tongues.

I am adding this beer. To call is merely a Fruit beer seems a shame with all the depth and complexity it offers. I put a call into the brewery and actually left a message for the brewer Steve to discuss this beer. My question for which I will obtain the answer is regarding the style. This is a Brandy Cask aged version of his Fruit Beer Cherry Jubilee, but in this version the sweetness has faded to a pleasant tart. The sweet cherry is still present but it has magnificent shift it does across the tongue. The beginning is sweet and yet the finish is funky and actually a bit sour. I love that! It seems closer to The Duchesse De Bourgogne than to New Glarus Raspberry Tart, but it is along those lines. This beer has more wood and oak and delightfully sweet cherry brandy in the nose. Truly magnificent!

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
