Reviewed from last week's tasting notes.
Appears a semi-hazy golden straw color with a single finger foam collar that sticks around for quite some time but doesn't leave much lacing behind. Texture is oily smooth on a medium body (maybe a smidge too heavy.) Has a great biscuit malt presence with a few fruity esters and a bouquet of floral and grassy hopping in both the nose and in the flavor, aftertaste comprises long sustained gentle lemon peel and a hint of diacetyl butter in the aftertaste. The butter and slightly too-hefty body don't quite work out for me, but everything -else- about this brew shows craftsmanship.

Picked up a few growlers from Steve the day before Dark Lord '08. Great guy and a fantastic brewer! Delicious lagers.
A fine looking unfiltered lager with a tiny white head. Copper colored offsetting and filthy.
Thick bready malts with a piney, spicey hop underneath. Bold in nature with a rustic feel.
Bready malts with an earthy piney hop. Toast and biscuit in the middle. Clean finish with a tantalizing zesty carbonation. All day drinkable.
