Had this on tap at the Great Taste of the Midwest, poured into a sample glass.

Hazy straw colored, definitely not the raspberry reported on the other review. Off white head has decent retention.
Fruity aroma, citric, some earthiness and bread, and a slight funky note I was not expecting. Oak and vanilla round it out.
Unbalanced taste, the combination of somewhat excessive piney notes does not blend well with the oak and vanilla which are also quite strong. Malts virtually disappear in there. Seems to need some work.

Unfiltered dirty raspberry color with orange and copper hues. Small off white head fades gradually.

Very fruity with citrus and stone fruits. Apple, oak, hints of oak, vanilla, toasted bread and a bit of earth.

Very woody in the mouth which adds an offsetting tanning to the feel. Somewhat out of balance. The wood tannins dominate the mid palate and finish. Citrusy hops with piney underlying. The wood just overpowers the malts and leaves things in the dust.
