A capped bomber bottle. Thanks to Deuane for hauling this one back for me. Shared with the NEPA beer club at our holiday party. Poured into my tumbler, the beer appears a hazy chestnut brown color with about a finger of ecru foam. Nose and flavors are dominated by big scotch notes (think Chivas Regal), followed by raisins, dark fruits such as cherries and prunes, a good bit of caramel malt, mildly sour. Maybe a notch better than medium bodied and adequately carbonated. Slick and boozy in the finish. You have to be a fan of scotch to dig this one.

Cheers to sholland119 for picking up this beer during his Dark Lord trip. Pours with a thin head. Nice lacing. Smells sweet & fruity. Taste is interesting: malty with some tart fruit. The barrel aging is fairly subtle but tasty. Mouthfeel is smooth & the beer gets better as it warms a bit. A nice sipper. Good luck to this brewery which is starting to bootle its beers. Recommended.

Cheers.
