(From notes - cask at RnH - this is billed as an 'Imperial Brown Rye')
A - Deep dark coppery brown color; with a barely there bubbly light tan head
S - Rye; a little hoppiness; rich chocolate malts; bit of sweetness comes in; little nutty
T - Rich, just a touch roasted; kiss of hops; chocolately in the finish with some sweetness as well
M - Medium; silky; no real carbonation (cask)
D - Nice and warming, good sipping, but the tastes got to be all over the place after a bit.
Interesting, and a number of layers if not a little messy.
