A - Dark chocolate brown with no light getting through with no signs of carbonation or head
S - This beer smells great. I get cherry, vanilla, light chocolate, bourbon, and light smokiness that meld together
T - The taste doesn't live up to the smell. There is light cherry, chocolate, and light caramel. It reminds me a bit of a cherry lozenge. The flavor is thin overall and doesn't seem to meld together well. The finish is light caramel.
MF - A really thin, watery body that is too thin for my tastes. Light astringency in the finish. I think this one would definitely benefit from being thicker. I'm actually surprised it is so thin given the ABV
O - Overall, I had high hopes for this, especially after smelling it. However, it tasted nothing like it smelled. The flavors didn't meld well and it was slightly artificial tasting. It was also rather thin and watery.
