500ml Bottle conditioned: best before Mar 2013, poured at home into an Abbot Ale glass tankard.
Named after a Steam Train: doesn't look like one!
Light, but dirty golden body with a hint of haze (I left the sediment in the bottle, or thought I did). A full head of white foam sat on top.
The nose was of pines and floral hops: no malt content found in the aromas.
The hops also rule the taste: dry bitter start and finish with a trace of maltiness mid-sip. Refreshing feel to the flavour and body, this is an easy drinking hoppy brew that should get more press.
