This is a barrel aged imperial porter and what barrel I'm still unsure anyways it pours a luscious dark brown hue with a one finger wispy head and lacing here and there, the smell screams porter with your usual suspects of milk chocolate, light mocha, caramel, herbal hops and a touch of oak lingering in the background along with some booze, the mouthfeel is medium bodied with nice minimal carbonation and on taste wow it's tasty with big hints of milky chocolate, mocha,a subtle oakiness that just sits quietly in the background and all rounded out with a herbal hoppiness that balances out this wonderful act of a beer and overall it's very well done with the barrel ageing nicely balanced allowing the base beer to shine would definately buy again.
