330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Clear and deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts, hints of caramel, brown bread and mild spices. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour. Notes of malts (but not too sweet), brown bread, caramel, dark fruits and berries. Moderate hops.

Good looking amber colour when poured into the glass, strong head, slightly bitter taste, but full bodied and enjoyable. Doesn't leave a strong after taste. Is a great alternative to the imported beers. Is delicious with traditional Middle Eastern mezza.

Poured from a 33cL bottle into a glass.
A: Thin white head. A pretty orange-amber, but nothing super-special. Clear, with a dark colour.
S: Malty, fruity, with some above average vegetal/skunky/hoppy scents floating about. Slightly buttery/biscuity.
T: Buttery malts belie a bitterer bite near the end of the taste. Perfect carbonation pervades the body. The aftertaste is crisp, lingering, and tasty.
M: Crsip, carbonated, malty-round, and substantial.
O: Convincingly better than Golden and one of the best beers I've had made in the Middle East.

Dark yellow colour with retaining bubbly white head, and some lace spots. Made under contract in Belgium. Funky aroma. Doesn't taste skunked, but a slight infected taste. Drinkable still. Light body with some creamy yeast. Sour finish and a bit infected aftertaste. Thanks DSG (Dead Swedish Girl)
