Chillers Brew Pub, Eatery & Offsale

Visited Chillers on a recent trip to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This is the only brew-pub in the city (now that Brewster's has changed hands). It is a huge place in the industrial part of town, and has lots of tables, a large bar and open grill area where food is prepared. The tanks are in full view from any seating area. There is also an attached liquor store. Decore is nicely done in dark green with red wood. Menu offers a large selection, but it is pretty typical pub-grub, and our finger food was tasty. The place was quite slow, so our service was fast and waitress was freindly. Unfortunately, they no longer have a full time brewmaster on staff, and they "just have a guy who comes by a couple times a week." They used to bottle there brews, but they have stopped that as well. Chillers now only has 3 offerings - Iron Horse Red, SOB Light, and a Pilsner that they were out of. We did catch Happy Hour, so 32oz schooners were only $5, so tried one each of the Red and Light, and both were very basic.
Overall, an OK place. Too bad things are starting to fall behind. Would recommend, but only because it is the only place in Moose Jaw.
