The history of the Hostan brand is inextricably linked with the town of Znojmo, where beer was brewed in the Middle Ages according to a document by Rudolf Habsburg from 1278. The beer is named after the first mentioned brewer, Mr. Hostan, who appears in records from the time of Charles IV.
The Hostan brand offers its consumers the classic draft beer Naše pivko and the eleven-degree lager Hostan Hradní.
The restaurant Hostan Naše pivko v tanku is also available in the restaurants.
Hostan beers are regularly placed in beer and tasting competitions, from which it has won a number of awards.
