Best Bitter Special is our Best Bitter with fuggle hops added in the cask. This is a process known as "dry-hopping." There is a lingering bitter finish that dominates the flavour and aroma. Best Bitter Special won the 2007 Ontario Brewing Award in the Bitter catagory.

This is a "special" dry-hopped version of their standard bitter. Dry hopped with Fuggles.

A-Hazy copper with a dense light tan head that would not go away. Left nice lacing on the way down.

S-The teltale aroma of the fuggles thanks to the dry hopping. A bit of sweet caramel malt sneaks in on the back end. The hop aroma is present but certainly not overpowering.

T-Mmmm...a lovely, masterful balance of a well done English bitter. Biscuity caramel malts dance with the herbal Fuggles.

M-Medium bodied and super creamy. The beauty of cask delivery! This one feels like hops infused cream!

D-Just about all day....smooth and creamy with enough hops to keep me happy and an ABV low enough to keep me out of trouble! Well done!
