Presentation: 12oz. brown twist-off. Cool label with goats drinking beer from metal steins, playing cards and having fun. "Malt Liquor", stated on the bottle.
Appearance: Deep red caramel. Look as if it would be syrupy. When poured, a big light tan/orange tinged head forms.
Smell: Clean malt sweetness with a rounded caramel aroma. An underestimated alcohol perfume, awaits in the background.
Taste: Sweet, smooth and syrup like. Full bodied, terrific mouthfeel and an alcoholic punch. A hop bitterness subdues the sweetness and sours out like an ale.
Notes: If handed to us we would say, "This is a German Bock.", until we noticed that the head disappeared within minutes. However it is not German, and it is a most redeemable beer for Pete and Company. It's about time he made a kick-ass beer! (applaud)
