They also have a satellite location in Charleston, My experience has been that the service is much better (not great) at the Mt. Pleasant location.

Beers are usally decent and they usually have at least 5 on tap. The Pale Ale is usally my choice, but the red is decent.

Food, do not think you will get a great dinner here, I only order sandwiches which they seem to have down even if here for dinner. Last time I went, we were with friends and I suggested they stick to sandwiches, two ordered dinners and one returned their dinner. The hunk of steak was overcooked and tough. Stick to the sandwiches.

Finally, with no selection at all in the lowcountry, this is probably the best it gets in Charleston area

Like the bro before me, I must concure. This is a very average place with no frills or things to jump out at you. The beer is run-of-the-mill, and the food is ok. I suggest the Cooper River Red. It's a nice little amber that is offered year round.

This brewery has really turned it's act around, with such additions as the Raspberry Wheat, Smashing Pumpkin, and Mocha Oatmeal Stout. I was very suprised that they actually are venturing out in to the world of great beers. I guess the only downside is that SC only allows beers to reach the 6.0% level. Go by and try some of thier brews if you have the chance.

I was very disappointed with the selection of in-house beers available...all of 3.
The Octoberfest I had was very good.
The atmosphere was hohum, almost on the edge of boring.
The service was fairly good, the staff friendly, the food tasty but the atmosphere was lacking.
I will probobly not return as there is so many other options open for casual dinning in the area.

Quite average in every way. The beer selection is not very good. There are not many choices other than their brews on tap. The food was ok but for the $ not outstanding. The service I would call average. If you want to stop in and try one of their brews go ahead.. but I was not impressed enough to eat there again.
