500ml bottle, bb in 7m.
Muddy amber colour. Ample head that recedes slowly to a thin film, leaving a vestige of lace.
Nose is weird. Cucumber and dill growing in a vegetable garden with rotten undergrowth.
Taste does not match. The compost floats faintly above a parched landscape of hollow bitterness. Dry like a bretta without any flavours.
Does not work at any level.

L- Mid chestnut, pours with some head clears to lacing. It is decidely cloudy and leaves traces of yeast sediment in the bottle.
S- Prominent citrus fruits on the front, together with some perfume that reminds me of lychee. The lable refers to 'New Zealand hops', that's the only clue I have as to the smells source.
T- Very different from what the perfumed smell suggests. This is very clearly a very well-hopped IPA, it is very, very, 'hoppy dry/bitter'.
F- It feels quite literally drying on the palate.
O- This will appeal to those who enjoy the current vogue for very highly hopped beers; alas to me it's dryness seems out of balance vs something I'd wish to drink again.
500ml bottle, BB 31/7/019
I bought this bottle from the Co-op shop at Norwich station. It has styled itself after the panther that has been variously reported apparently stalking the surrounding countryside in recent years.
ps. Unfortunately I find the picture upload utility so difficult to use on this website that I am unable to add a picture of the bottle.
