Probably the nicest thing I can write about this beer is that they got the appearance right. It's golden and cloudy.
However, there is no clove or bananna flavor, just a little hops in the finish.
The label says it's "the ultimate hammock beer." It sure is a session beer. I just don't see it being a hefeweisen.
It's a real weak American take on the style. Beers like this hurt the hefeweisen name! And the real shame is it's from Oregon, land of wonderful beer.
