This is the new name for Zig Zag Lager. In fact the label says "just like Zig Zag only better!" so maybe the recipe has been tweaked a little. Rich gold with twinge of copper, head blossoms then dwindles to a small ring, minimal lacing. Evocative of Czech pilseners with plenty of malt backbone and sweetness, plus the added benefit of tart but unobtrusive Pacific NW hops. A slight metallic undertaste adds authenticity (and should comfort the uninitiated) and the mouthfeel is accurately sticky but of course it is nowhere near as soft and pillowy as Budvar for example. Not complex and not as miraculous as the best Czech pilseners but pretty darn good for a brewery's "dumb lager" category.
