22oz bottle purchased at Haggens in Woodinville, Washington.
No dating. Served in a pint glass.
Look- Clear golden orange color. Large off-white head that recedes rather slowly to a thin cap of foam, spotty lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, orange and lemon), pineapple, caramel malt, light pine and stone fruit, floral/spicy notes - almost like rose hips.
Taste- Pithy citrus, light pineapple and stone fruit with a solid malt backbone, lingering hoppy bitter finish. Nicely balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied, semi-dry and fairly crisp. Medium carbonation on the tongue.
O- Basic and nothing really over the top but nice, a typical west coast IPA, decent price too.

Even at 70 IBU too much malt overpowers the hops. Reminds me of a New Belgium beer with the earthy 'biscuit' aftertaste which I dislike immensely. Pretty disappointed in this one.
