This was like my first foray into the hop oil world. Or at least the first beer that gave a commercial tug job about it.

Pours yellow, has a bit more darker gold to it than a cheap AAL, but the head is white and thin and receding from its 1/4" high point. Aroma isn't really hoppy beyond the perceived bitter aroma. Cascade?

Taste is seemingly lighter bodied moreso than any distinctive hop differentiation from using pellets or cones? There is really only one hop flavor here and its yellow grapefruit. Its not an obtrusive bitterness. Had no problem putting down multiples. This is a relatively mild in terms of its pale toasted 2 row quantity, but I guess they thought that the hop oil would be less bitter or something, but it just amounts to a standard pale ale from the 90s. I don't think there was any dry hopping with this beer. Was just bittering hops reduced to oil. One of the first hop gimmicks. Roughly translates to this day and age being a session beer for hot weather.

Pours a very slightly hazy golden yellow with a moderate white quickly dissipating head. The smell is of cedar and grapefruit. The taste is slightly toasted malts with a mild piney hop flavor and a firm mouthfeel. This is much more smooth and drinkable than I thought it would be and I think it would make an excellent session beer.

An ale made with "distilled aromatic hops". It is a golden yellow, very slightly hazy ale with a moderately white, quickly dissapating head. The smell is hoppy and floral. The taste begins very clean, is slightly malty in the middle, and finishes with a mild hoppy bitterness. This ale has a nice firm texture in my mouth. A very "drinkable" ale.

Ok saw this beer last sprig..weird name..than I saw it today at the cheap canned food warehouse place..$2.99 a six..so here goes.
Pretty average looking extra pale ale type beerdark yellow/gold..not much head..leaves a ring.
certainlly smell the aromatic hops that this is brewd wioth..ok.
taste is mostly bitter hops a small malt profile at the start..a fairly nice hop bite.
Too watery in the mouth for my tastes but its not bad feeling.
This is drinkable for the money I paid but if it were sale at regular MacT prices..not worth it.
