"What do heavy metal and Baltic Porters have in common? According to our head brewer, everything; loud, intense, turned up to eleven. Rich, heavy, malt body fermented with a Munich lager yeast strain and refined by month of traditional cold maturation.

Mohagany color, let's a good bit of light pass through. Solid retention of the head.
Malty aroma- toffee, coffee, and chocolate. Pleasant, but faint.
Chocolate, coffee, and heavy char flavor.
Mouthfeel is heavy on the carbonation, light on the body, and surprisingly astringent.
The description talks about turning it up to eleven, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I found the smell and taste muted and covered by the harsh astringency.

Look: Pours a dark brownish with hints of red. Pours with small white head. With small covering that remains on top. Very little lacing.
Smell: Lots malt with slight hints of coffee and chocolate. No smell of hops.
Taste: lots oF malt, some chocolate, a few hints of darker stone fruit, some light bitterness at the end.
Feel: Nice carbonation, fairly crisp drinking. Alcohol is hidden really well doesn't drink like nine percent abv.

22oz. Bomber
MFG: 06.20.14
So this bottle must be a little over a year old.
Poured into a chalice a very nice clean/clear dark brown color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice one-finger creamy light tan head, which leaves some nice small islands and lots of sticky lacing. The nose is malty, with some nice chocolate/toffee notes, slight vanilla. The taste is very nice, malty, slight hop note, lots of dark stuff, but on the milder side. Medium body, ABV is hidden very well, slightly dry finish. Overall a very tasty brew, definitely would buy again. Recommended.
