Had on tap, head was OK, not a lot of aroma to it, taste became overpowering with cherries as I continued to drink it. Good, but one glass was enough for me.

Strong ale aged in bourbon barrels with sour cherries.
Murky chestnut brown with reddish glints in the light. Long lasting head of creamy khaki foam, meringue surface texture. Great retention for a barrel aged beer.
Aroma is rich with woody oak and vanilla, plus the added bonus of lightly sweet and sour cherry. Purely natural and very complimentary to the whole. Wet wood and even a little dill comes out as it warms from the fresh oak.
Taste is similarly layered and complex. Not overly boozy, woody with a bit of natural tart cherry fruitiness, brown sugar, tobacco leaf. Medium bodied, dry woody tannin in the aftertaste. After revisiting it a couple times, it left a strong Oud Bruin impression.
Overall it was a great beer, miles ahead of their standard lineup.
