I called to get the name of this beer. The nice lady who answered told me "its just called Cask Brown, If thats OK with you."
Jim says it's 5.5 abv - I took his word for it.
Served in a pint glass.
Full ruby-brown color with slightly red-tinted, tan head. Nice lacing.
Smells are fruity and caramel-malty. Hop pine, a smidgen of the oak at room temperature, and alcohol.
Flavor is a bit sweet, a bit of piny hop bitterness. Some of the alcohol esters come through.
Full body, light but adequate carbonation.
A drinkable enough beer for being rather warm.
I will try this one again if they have it. Its good.
