Special one-off tribute beer to the Michael Jackson, the Beer Writer. Rather off-bitter and dry, but appreciate the effort by a special brewer. What hops, I am not sure, was the cask better colder the day before I do not know. Light mouthfeel, body, but looks OK.

Volo Cask Days 07.
A: Murky orange-brown, off-white head, no retention or lace (gravity poured cask).
S: Figs, orange rind, appricot, candied fruit, dark bread.
T: Figs, orange, bready, candied fruit, slight bubble gum fruity esters, good bitterness.
M: Moderate body is smooth, lightly carbonated, slight acidity.
D: Not overly enticing, but quite drinkable.
