Volo 2009 English cask fest. Another good understated offering by this brewer. Golden colour with no head. A peachy fruity taste, nice hops at a low IBU of course, refreshing, with alittle herbal flavour there. About average mouthfeel. Nice and fresh.

On cask at Volo pre-Cask Days English ales event.
Pours a hazy dark orange amber, medium sized white head forms, slowly settles to a thin ring around the glass, some lace spots stick, looks good.
Smell is nice, light and grapefruity, some biscuity malt and caramel, floral hops, a bit of fruity character, well balanced, lightly herbal.
Taste is similar, fruity up front, grapefruit and some citrus, floral, caramel and biscuit malty middle, herbal bitterness, pretty flavourful for under 4%.
Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation, pretty drinkable stuff.
