Served in a tulip. Paid $5 for the beer and it was probably around 9oz.
Dark brown with ruby shades on edge of glass. No head or retention.
Heavy Belgian spice, brewers yeast and bread. Dark, dark fruits of plum and fig. Molasses and brown sugar. White pepper and other spices which remind me somewhat of a tripel.
Medium to full body. Somewhat crisp mouth and only slightly smooth and creamy. Medium finish of yeast and Belgian spice. Mouthfeel really separates this from a good Belgian.
