Pours a hazed straw with no head. Nose is like glue. Yes, glue. Slight citrus edge. Flavor is like fruit that is far from being ripe. (that is not good) Heavily tart at first and it calms down as you sip on. Feel is pretty good. Nice level of carbonation. Thin on the mouth though. It is drinkable sure, but not very exciting. I bought this one because it was the last one on the shelves. I tried it, and now I will move on to the next brew in my fridge.

Apperance: A hazy golden/vanilla yellow. The head retention and lacing are minimal, but the shape and texture of the head is textbook!

Nose: Fresh baked crackers, wheat, dough, "heavy water"

Taste: A pleasant bitterness which is nit hoppy, but citrusy. A little syrupy towards the end. Nice and crisp as you would expect from a weiss. Hay, or another golden grass at the end.

Notes: The perfect summer brew. It has a little bit of a wierd aftertaste. Bitter. I love it when beer does not come with a bottle cap.

This beer really fills out the definition of wheat beer. It has wheat color, smell and taste. It does have a good mouth feel and a pleasing after taste. Surely has the bubble gum aftertaste. To me, it simply it is not complex or very interesting.
It is a beer that is correct for what it is. I don't believe it will be too popular with American drinkers.

However, the nice thing about this beer, is on a hot day, you can drink more then one.

If you run accross this one, give it a try.

An odd beer. The color is an attractive golden yellow, almost an apricot look, with slight cloudiness. The pour forces up a huge head of white billowing foam that is short lived. There is no lace effect. The nose is very pungent and oddly sour sensed. The taste is also very pungent, lightly cloved with a very long, unpleasant aftertaste that I did not like. The feel is of slight carbonation with underpinnings of smooth creaminess. Constant flow of bubbles from the bottom. The packaging is good with a stoppered bottle showing off a great label. I would not order more of this beer for its flavor is unsettling to me.

This beer poured a bright clear yellow with a fairly good head but the head was not long lasting. There was no yeast in the liquid which made for a clear beer. The aroma of the grain was nearly as strong as the cloves. The beer tasted more clean that other weissbeirs and the cloves were very subtle. I could not taste any banana. There was a bit of carbonation on the tongue which tingled when held in the mouth. It was also mildly creamy. This would be a very good beer to introduce someone to wheat beer. It has some of the characteristics of a wheat but does not beat you up with its uniqueness.
