Stopped into Milly's today with the Family for lunch.... New bier on tap with, WHAT? 225 IBUs? Really? Can the palate discern any difference over 100-120 or so? Well, I' m having some regardless... Served in a shaker pint, for $5.50 per...
Glass was filled with a clear brew, which was a deep copper color. Had steady carbo, and the head was light tan and frothy but thinned rapidly. Lacing on the glass was good, too. Nose had a healthy amount of citrus and rindy action. Solid in body, it also had minimal prickle on the tongue.
You could find a hint of caramel if you looked hard, but it was mainly hop city all the way. Had plenty of grapefruity citrus and rindy action, plus it was resiny and piney. This hopping really coated the palate and did not go away for some time. Pretty light on the ABV, too, so you can toss down a few without serious repercussions. Prosit!
