Snagged a pint ($6.25) today after hitting the Dunbarton Arts Fest.....
Shaker pint held a deep, dark brown, liquid. Could see a bit of mahogany shining at the edges, but it was opaque otherwise. Head was thin and fine, a wispy layer of tan foam which left very nice lacing. Aroma was an intriguing combo of roasty malts and citrussy hops. Body was medium, and it felt welcoming on the tongue.
Taste also had roasty, slightly charred, bitter malts leading off. Soon after the palate was covered with pithy, rindy citrus, grapefruit being most prevalent. A solid combo of roasty and citrus... Prosit!!
