I had a couple of pints of this today at Stark/Milly's with daughter Colleen during a Father's Day lunch. Cost was $9.00 per...
Shaker pint was filled with a clear, medium amber brew. Carbo was sparse, and the head was white, fine and thin, with decent lace. Aroma came with some caramel and sweetish fruit. Body was medium, with a decent feel on the tongue.
Flavor started with some lightly sweet malt, highlighted by caramel and toasty action. Had a nice, semisweet fruit layer on top of that, with apricot and tangerine highlighting the proceedings. Was like a healthy dollop of fruity jam on a slab of toasted wholegrain bread. Enjoyed the fruity sweetness, with minimal bitterness throughout. A niiice bier!! Prosit!
