Sample at the source.
Dark brown with hints of ruby at the edges and a thin off white head that slowly recedes. Rich bready caramel and dark fruit notes against hints of earthy citrus and pine. Very nice sipper.

Swung by Stark/Milly's for the 2nd day in a row... Saw this on tap yesterday and hadn't had a chance to try it... Rectified today! A 16oz pour was $9.00.
Shaker pint glass was filled with a clear, dark, deep mahogany-hued brew. Had a nice, creamy tan head, with excellent lacing. Nose was surprisingly mild, but there was some caramel malt and some pithy hoppage. Feel was pretty smooth, and body was medium to almost medium-plus.
Taste had more malty caramel and toffee at the outset. Then? Some subtle bourbon action and then more citrus - pithy, rindy, piney notes melded in with the malts... with the hopping lingering on the palate. A very nice homage to Ye Olde Chucklehead... Prosit!!
