From a 16oz can found "aging" in the beer cave at my place of work.
Pours oily black, dense and opaque. Has a few, minute carbo bubbles slowly meandering to the surface, where they find a creamy, fine, deep beige head. The topping started as about 1/4" but has ebbed to a thin layer. Lacing left behind is decent. Aroma has rich choco, cocoa, coffee and brown sugar - quite inviting! Feel is rather smooth, though the body could use a bit more heft so as to reach medium.
Flavor is not quite as sweet as the nose suggests, unfortunately. Still has a bit of cocoa and coffee, plus a smidge of bitter, dark choco. There's a suggestion of dark fruit swirling around before leading to a mildly floral finish. Hope to try a fresh batch when we next brew it.... Prosit!

Sample at the source.
Dark brown black in color with a huge tan head that persists.
Rich bready caramel and burnt sugary flavors against a hint of chocolate and roast and some earth and fruit to round it out. Well made desert stout but low enough in abv to quaff.
