Had a pint of this with lunch Thursday (02OKT08) at the pub with daughter Caitlin.

Pours a clear, pale straw color, with scattered carbo within the liquid. Head was thin, fine, and white, with good lacing adhering to the glass. Nose, though restrained, gave off whiffs of bready malt with some grassiness. Body was a bit south of medium, though still somewhat smooth on the palate.

This Pils is crackery and bready, with subtle sweetness. Hops are pronounced though not overpowering, with more grassiness, a hint of hay, and a subdued spicy Hallertau finish. Dry and crisp, this is a decent rendition of the style.

Zum Wohl!!
