Have had a number of pints of this recently at Stark, most recently on 27AUG21.... A new offering from headbrewer Jake...
Served in a shaker pint glass, it was a clear, rich, dark copper color. Very attractive! Had a creamy, fine, thin, off-white layer of foam, which lasted well and left nice lacework. Aroma had caramel and toasty malts, plus some mild citrus. Body was a good medium, and the feel was pleasant on the tongue.
Taste? Caramel and toffee, plus toasty notes, put down a solid malt backbone. Added atop that was rindy, pithy citrus, with a touch of grapefruit. A smidge of caramel reappears in the finish. Quite tasty. Hope this one sticks around! Prosit!
